Who we are

Stacked AI Fitness Tracker is a personal training, nutrition, and recovery tracking app. It helps you log your workouts, runs, meals, and recovery data in one place and gives you AI-powered coaching personalized to that data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it.

Data we collect

We collect only the information needed to run the app for you:

• Account information you provide, such as your email and name.
• Health and fitness data you connect or enter — heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, body battery, steps, VO2 max, workouts and strength sets, runs (distance, pace, heart rate, and GPS routes), and body weight.
• Nutrition logs — foods, calories, macronutrients, micronutrients, and meal photos.
• Goals, training plans, and any free-text notes or coaching brief you write.

Where your data comes from

Your data reaches Stacked AI Fitness Tracker through sources you authorize:

• Garmin Connect — when you authorize the connection, we store an access token so we can sync your wellness and activity data.
• Apple Health — in the iOS app, with your permission, we read workouts, runs, and step counts directly from HealthKit on your device; on the web you can connect via an authorized export bridge. HealthKit data is used only to display and coach your training, and is never used for advertising or sold.
• Manual entry — anything you type or photograph directly in the app.
• Push notifications — if you allow them in the iOS app, we store your device's notification token to send training reminders. You can turn notifications off any time in iOS Settings.

How we use your data

We use your data to display your stats, compute your recovery and readiness, and generate AI coaching and nutrition guidance personalized to you. We do not sell your data, and we never use it for advertising.

AI processing

To generate your coaching, insights, food analysis, and summaries, relevant portions of your data are sent to third-party AI providers — Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini). Food photos may be sent to these providers for analysis. Your data is sent solely to produce these features for you; it is never used for advertising and is never sold.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of trusted sub-processors to operate the app:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — app hosting.
• Anthropic and Google — AI processing for coaching and analysis.
• Garmin and Apple Health — fitness and wellness data you connect.
• Public food databases — USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts — for food lookups.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in a secured Supabase database. Access is scoped to your account using row-level security, so only you can reach your records, and data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, including backups. We do not retain your data after account deletion for any purpose.

Cookies and local storage

Stacked AI Fitness Tracker uses only essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Your rights and control

You stay in control of your data. You can export all of it, and you can permanently delete your account and everything associated with it at any time from Profile → Edit profile → Delete account. Deleting your account cascades through our systems and removes your records.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale — we never sell your data. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR including access, rectification, portability, and erasure. How we handle health data

Your health and fitness data is used only to provide the app's features — displaying your stats and generating your coaching. It is never used for advertising and is never sold.

Children

Stacked AI Fitness Tracker is not intended for users under 17 years of age.
